The 2019 Road To The Final!

We present the 2019 Road To The Final! Find out where and when athletes will contest each Diamond Discipline as they bid for a spot in next season's IAAF Diamond League Final and a chance to get their hands on the Diamond Trophy.

Today, the IAAF Diamond League releases the 2019 Diamond Disciplines, revealing which meetings will host which disciplines during the course of next season. 

As in 2018, the world’s top athletes will compete for points on the Road To The Final as they bid for a place in the IAAF Diamond League Final. In each discipline, those who have picked up the most points on the Road To The Final will earn a starting place at either Zurich or Brussels, and a shot at winning the Diamond Trophy.

In the women’s 1500m, for example, athletes will be able to pick up points in Shanghai, Rome, Rabat, Monaco, London and Birmingham as they compete for a place in the Zurich Final.
